Welcome to the new and improved web site for CARA. The new web master is Stephen (VE6CPU go figure!) under the guidance and advice of Tom (VE6SHB). While every effort to ensure accuracy in information and spelling has been made, nobody is perfect (despite Stephen's call sign).

CARA is active in installing and maintaining many of the repeaters around Calgary. For a list of repeaters click here.

CARA also participates in many DX contests every year from our club station (VE6AO) shared with Calgary Sports Car Club. Everyone is welcome to see and hear what amateur radio is all about.

Members of CARA take part in many public service events every year. Events like the Great Canadian Cookie Race, Calgary Winter Car Rally. For a complete list of events and who to contact to help out go to the public service page.
