CARA held a HAM University on March 10/2007 at SAIT. The topics included

- Propagation & Sunspot Cycle- VHF & UHF Repeaters...and beyond!
- CW ... its sets HAMS apart!- QRP Operation ... a real skill!
- Working DX ... Talk to the world- Ham Radio via Ham Radio satellites
- Contesting ... specialized skills!- Setting up an HF station ... a 'How to' session
- Setting up Antennas on City Lots- VOiP - e-QSO - Ecolink & IRLP ... new to you?
- International Regulations for Hams- Amateur Radio Emergancy Services ("ARES")

I will be posting the power point presentations as I receive them.

We are hoping to make the HAM University a yearly event (or at least once ever two years). This is great chance for new ham or those wanting to know more about what HAM radio is all about to come out and meet people and learn what you need to get on the air. I'll be posting more information about upcoming HAM Universities as I get the information.
